The NetWall W50 can be mounted on any appropriate stable, flat, level surface that can safely support the weight of the appliance and its attached cables. However, the NetWall W50 is designed to be rack mounted and operation on a flat surface should be avoided, except when done for testing purposes and if only for a short period of time.
The NetWall W50 can emit elevated levels of fan noise and caution should be taken to protect hearing when spending time in proximity to the appliance if it is being operated on a flat surface. It is not recommended to operate the unit outside of an acoustically isolated space.

Always ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and for easy access to switches and cable connectors. No objects should be placed on top of the casing. |
Once the brackets are firmly attached on either side, the unit can be mounted in a rack. Rear support is not required.
