Caution: The E80B is not an identical replacement for the E80A |

When replacing an older E80A unit with a newer E80B unit, the interface names are different so this should not be treated as replacement with an identical unit. Instead, this should be regarded as replacement with dissimilar hardware and the procedure for this is described in the separate Hardware Replacement Guide. Performing E80A replacement with an E80B is also discussed in the Knowledge Base article mentioned above. |
