The NetWall E80B can be mounted on any appropriate stable, flat, level surface that can safely support the weight of the appliance and its attached cables.

Adhesive rubber feet for the E80B unit are provided with the E80B in its packaging. These should be attached at the corners of the E80B's underside for resting on a flat surface. This protects both the surface and the appliance from damage as well as allowing air to circulate underneath for improved cooling during operation. |

Always ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and for easy access to switches and cable connectors. No objects should be placed on top of the casing. |
Once the brackets are firmly attached on either side, the unit can be mounted in a rack. Rear support is not required.
The NetWall E80B can also be rack mounted in a 19-inch rack using the kit which is included with the product and this is described next in Section 3.3, Rack Mounting.
