The NetWall 200R Series can be mounted on any appropriate stable, flat, level surface that can safely support the weight of the appliance and its attached cables.
However, the NetWall 200R Series is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail and operation on a flat surface should be avoided, except when done for testing purposes and if only for a short period of time.
DIN rail mounting is described next in Section 3.3, DIN Rail Installation.

Always ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and for easy access to switches and cable connectors. No objects should be placed on top of the casing. |
