1.3. 300 Series Models and Differences

There are two revisions of the 300 Series model:

[Important] Important: Some earlier cOS Stream versions are not supported

The supported cOS Stream versions are as follows:

  • The 300A can run any cOS Stream version from 3.90.00 onwards.
  • The 300B can run any cOS Stream version from 4.10.01 onwards.

Earlier versions than those stated above are not supported and a downgrade should not be attempted.

300B Differences

The principal differences in the 300B when compared with the 300A are as follows:

[Note] Note: The 300B is an identical replacement for the 300A

When replacing an older 300A unit with a newer 300B unit, there are no compatibility issues between the two models. Using a high availability cluster with Rev.A and Rev.B devices is fully supported.

The images in this guide were taken from a Rev.A hardware device. Minor differences may appear on a Rev.B device that do not match the images.
