The InCenter database should be routinely backed up in case of a critical system failure.
A backup and restore should be performed using the appropriate script. This involves logging in to the host operating system and running one of the scripts that should already be present in the /home/administrator/scripts folder.

During both the backup and restore procedures, the InCenter system is stopped and restarted. This means that any ongoing processes will be interrupted. |
Performing a Backup
Run the backup.sh script in the scripts folder of the administrator user.
Performing a Restore
Run the restore.sh script in the scripts folder of the administrator user.
Both the backup and restore scripts are described next in Section 17.9, Scripts.
