13.3. License Replacement

When a new license becomes available, the following steps should be used to replace an existing license:

  1. Download the new license file to the management computer.

  2. Upload the license to the InCenter server.

  3. Set the LicenseData property of the License object to be changed to the uploaded license file. For example: 

    admin@InCenter:/> set License my-license
			LicenseData=new_lic.lic

  4. Perform an activate and commit sequence.

  5. Enter the license -deploy command to deploy the license to the relevant nodes. For example: 

    admin@InCenter:/> license -deploy my-license
