If the firewall is under centralized management control, this can be disabled with the following steps:
Delete the node in InCenter.
Enable local control directly on the firewall.
The second step is necessary because even though a node is deleted from InCenter, its local firewall configuration will continue to have its centralized control flag set. This centralized control flag can be disabled by connecting to the firewall directly and entering the following firewall CLI command:
System:/> localconfiguration -enable
The disabling of centralized management will occur immediately after this command is entered but local activation of the configuration is required to make the change permanent.
The localconfiguration command without parameters will indicate if the firewall is currently under centralized management or not.
