8.5. Upgrading an HA Pair

When upgrading the firewall software version on the nodes in an HA pair, the procedure is similar to upgrading a standalone node:

  1. Upgrade the versions on each HA pair node in the normal standalone way outside of InCenter so that each has the same software version. Upgrading is described in the separate Administration Guide for the firewall software.

  2. The next time an activate and commit operation is performed on the HAPair object, InCenter will automatically update its stored version number of the software.
