7.2. Adding Nodes with the WebUI

To add a node using the WebUI, select the Nodes option from the Manage section in the navigation pane.

Press the Add button and select Node.

This starts the new node wizard which will go through the following steps:

  1. Connect

    The initial step is to enter the name of the node and the details for communicating with it.

  2. Properties

    The logical name and any node group membership are specified.

    The IncludeInDeploy option would only be disabled if there is a requirement to not deploy configuration changes to the node. This option is explained further in Section 10.4, Node/Firewall Synchronization.

    Any license that is to be used can also be specified.

  3. Done

    In the last step, a summary of the node is displayed to confirm the details.
